Turtle artists Elvíra and Kytička spread color on the canvas in abstract compositions with the touches of their shells, legs, and tails.

The turtles walked very carefully across the canvas. Elvíra stopped at the black spot and looked at it for a long time. During the work, Kytička went to graze on clover for a while. This work is very successful and reflects the relaxed mood of the turtles, their keeper and also the beautiful sunny summer afternoon.

The second part of a very successful double image. It is characterized by a bent edge, it got stuck under Kytička's shell and she was dragging it a little bit underneath her.

After carefully selecting colors with her nose, the turtle Elvíra ran after the clover in the keeper's hand and crossed the canvas in different directions. Artifacts from the surrounding nature were also glued to the painting.
The turtle Kytička quickly became clear about the choice of colors for the painting "BURNING STRAW".
The flower couldn't wait to throw herself onto the canvas and chose only two colors, yellow and red.
In 2024, the flower was bitten by a dog and therefore has a patch of special resin on its shell.

A flower inspired by a delicious raspberry has thrown itself wildly onto the canvas. Notice how the tail is also included in the painting.

The painting was created incredibly quickly in a burst of creative energy. Kytička thoroughly enjoyed painting it on a pleasant sunny summer afternoon.

Both turtles love raspberries. Fruit should not be overdone in turtles' diets. If they have a diet that is too high in calories, their shells will grow too quickly and become deformed.

Both turtles have a common enclosure of 15 m2 with a sunbathing area and a shelter.

Snapping turtles are gregarious animals. It is fun to watch them interact with each other. In the wild, females form loose groups and males roam among them.

Each of the turtles has its own personality and temperament.

They are adorable when they eat.

At the end of summer and during autumn, it already builds up reserves for winter sleep.

Sometimes turtles will also enjoy earthworms, carrion, or even grasshoppers.
